Cromar Covid Chronicles

We are living through extraordinary times with the coronavirus pandemic and its consequences and we all have stories to tell

Cromar History Group wishes to  capture this moment through your stories. We aim to create an archive of our time. If you would like to get involved and share your story, please contact: archives@cromarhistorygroup.org.uk

One of our team will provide details of the project

Eventually the Corvid 19 virus will become history and we’d love to capture a little of how it affected the people of Cromar and keep a record in our Archive.  Your stories, your works of art, your poems etc. are all welcome.  If you would like to get in touch we’ll be heppy to tell you more. Thank you

You can find some of our first contributions on our YouTube channel

In addition to the recorded conversations we have other contributions to our archive including this poem by Muriel Stewart

Here is a recent conversation with CHG member Denise Hansford

Gillian Needhm sent these photogrpahs writing  “This chair sits in my study and despite its context the bright colours cheer me every day.

Made for Tarland ChairArt 2020 and bought by me in our auction as part of Tarland Food and Music Festival. It was the entry from Forget me not club who we were fundraising for.”
